This summer Sims Reed Gallery presents Strike a Light by contemporary artist Aaron Kasmin, from 9th June – 20th July 2023.

Following the success of Always a Show (2021), Lucky Strike (2016), Up in Smoke (2017) and Showtime! (2019), we are thrilled to be collaborating with contemporary artist Aaron Kasmin for his fifth show at the gallery.  Strike a Light showcases Aaron’s signature style of fusing together vibrant colours and striking imagery to shed a new light on American culture with his nostalgic chalk pencil drawings of ephemeral matchbooks.  With a wide range of themes from travel to fashion, food to sports these bold and dynamic works are as captivating as they are beautiful.

The exhibition opens on the 9^th June and runs until 20th July 2023.
